Meet Ariel

Founder and owner, Refresh60 Systems

Ariel founded Refresh60 Systems in Phoenix, bringing together two fields: aviation and information technology.

Aviation runs on checklists and on human factors, the study of how people work with machines and where mistakes happen. Ariel is finishing a master's degree in it at Arizona State University. That's why Refresh60's repair procedures are written like an airline's quick reference handbook: short, numbered steps, with clear warnings wherever a slip could cost you your data.

On the IT side, Ariel is an IT consultant, contracted PRN (as needed) for a small nursing and assisted living facility, and builds and upgrades PCs.

What we do

Refresh60 Systems LLC fixes, cleans and upgrades laptops and desktop PCs. Most jobs are everyday problems: a computer that has slowed to a crawl, a part that needs installing, a machine that needs a proper check-up.

We also run RefreshedTo60. You bring us an older PC, like an office Dell or HP or a small tower from the 2000s, and we work out how far it can be upgraded toward modern gaming specs, then do the upgrade.

And we sell tested used parts, like memory, hard drives and Wi-Fi cards, through our Square store.

How we work

Written procedures
Our technicians work from Refresh60's own library of repair procedures, based on official documentation from Microsoft and from hardware makers like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Intel and AMD.
A ticket for every job
Every device that comes in gets a ticket number and a printed service ticket, so you know what was checked in and what we're working on.
Clear prices
Everyday fixes have flat prices. Upgrades are priced by the hour, and you see an estimate before any parts are ordered.
Your passwords stay yours
Our forms never ask for passwords, and neither will we.
